Principal

Preston Thomas brings nearly two decades of experience and a bold, strategic mindset to his role as Principal of SEI Properties. Since 2013, he has led the development of 28+ commercial real estate projects across the Memphis and North Mississippi Metro region, spanning industrial outdoor storage, medical office, and Class A office properties.

In addition to his leadership at SEI, Preston is a top-performing broker with Colliers International, where he has completed over 600 transactions totaling more than 50 million square feet and $4 billion in deal volume since 2006.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions to the industry, Preston holds the prestigious SIOR designation and has earned honors including the National Association of Realtors’ National Commercial Award for Tennessee and the Memphis Area Association of Realtors’ Broker of the Year.

Known for his ability to spot hidden value and lead complex deals with confidence, Preston is a driving force behind SEI’s mission to turn overlooked spaces into thriving commercial assets.

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of SEI Properties, Thomas Threadgill brings a sharp operational focus and deep investment expertise to every project. With a background spanning fund management, asset strategy, and financial oversight, Thomas ensures that SEI’s developments are not only visionary—but backed by disciplined execution.

Prior to joining SEI, Thomas served as an Asset Manager at Knightvest Capital, where he oversaw the performance of value-add multifamily investments in Dallas–Fort Worth and Orlando. Before that, he spent seven years at Invesco Real Estate in Dallas, serving as Director of Fund Operations and contributing to the management of nationally diversified real estate portfolios including the Invesco Core Fund and Invesco Income Fund. These funds invested across industrial, multifamily, office, retail, self-storage, medical office, and single-family rental assets nationwide.

Thomas began his career in public accounting with BKD in Jackson, Mississippi, grounding his strategic approach in financial precision and accountability. At SEI, he leads with clarity, resourcefulness, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
